Nescafé Dolce Gusto's Drop - Design Inspired by Coffee

Nescafe Dolce Gusto Drop

The world is going crazy for coffee right now; just look at the number of coffee shops, cafes and Starbucks outlets! As if having our lives revolve around coffee wasn’t enough, Nestle’s Nescafe Dolce Gusto shot to fame circa 2011 and came in a series of models manufactured by big time European appliance manufacturers Krups and De’Longhi. Caffeine addicts just had to have it in their home! Not only do the pods (also known as capsules) have a wide variety of coffee to choose from, they have tea too, which probably makes this machine every coffee-lover’s dream come true. Heck, even the common folk would fall for its charm!

Last weekend, Nestle’s Nescafe Dolce Gusto launched their latest multi-beverage invention in Malaysia – Drop. Drop by Krups is the pioneer of a new generation of automatic coffee machines which (like some of its predecessors) serve several types of beverages and comes in two minimalistic colors: red metal and dark silver. There is also one in white but is currently unavailable here in the Malaysian market. In case you haven’t noticed, Drop’s design is of that of a coffee drop, hence the name. So, what’s so great about Nescafe Dolce Gusto’s new baby? Be prepared to enjoy over 18 delicious state-of-the-art beverages at the very touch of a finger, thanks to its distinctive touch-screen technology. Thanks to its unique touch technology, you can now enjoy state-of-the-art beverages only at the touch of a finger.

Weighing in at a mere 2.4 kg, be amazed at its hidden 0.8L water tank, seamless curves and special interface. With its high pressure system delivering up to 15-bar pump pressure, brew your very own customized cup of strong Americano, refreshing iced cappuccino, rich Chococino, creamy Chai Tea Latte and even delicious Milo. Enjoy your cuppa precisely the way you like it – all the time, every time. Or if you just want a quick cuppa in your hand, follow the preparation suggestions on your desired beverage capsule for a simple yet satisfying coffee experience.

Nescafe Dolce Gusto Drinks

The all-new Nescafe Dolce Gusto Drop machine has only been launched a few days and many are still unaware of its existence in the Malaysian market. As at time of writing, you can shop online for the Dolce Gusto Drop at Lazada for only RM623 as Nescafe Dolce Gusto’s official website has discontinued all web-shop coffee machine sales, but not to worry as you can head on over to Parkson stores near you or other distributor stores listed here to make your purchase. Take a minute to watch the video below to entice your caffeine senses!
